Yep, you guessed it

Not much going on in the world of UGAgrad. Today was the last day of school before Spring Break. WOOHOO!! Now I have 2 weeks of doing whatever I feel like doing and sleeping later than 5:30am (hopefully, if the kids cooperate). I do have quite the "to do" list for next week before we leave for Florida. Want to see it? Of course you do!! ;-)

1. Hair cuts for both kids (I'm thinking of a cut and color for myself as well). (Kids DONE and mine DONE)
2. Georgia has to go to the vet. (DONE)
3. Fix the hydraulic thingys on the back door of the van (anyone know of a good cheap mechanic?). (Nope, didn't happen. Parts had to be ordered and not in before we leave.)
4. Clean the house. (This didn't work out......Michael will get this job while we are gone.)
5. Wash the clothes right before trip. (DONE)
6. Pack (DONE)
7. Buy a battery for my watch (it died last night and I walked around with it on my wrist all day today anyway.). (DONE)
8. Find my workout tapes for home. (DONE)
9. Manicure, pedicure, and massage for me. (DONE w/o the massage *sigh*)
10. Clean Joshua's old car seat so I can take it to my cousin. (DONE)
11. Laundry (DONE)
12. Go to Daddy's (we still haven't done Christmas with them.......how bad is that?). (DONE)
13. Clean out the van so all the crap........ummmmmmmm I mean useful items will fit for our trip. (DONE)
14. Find time everyday to work out. (This didn't work out like I had hoped)
15. Make dentist appts for the kids. (DONE)
16. Oil change for the van. (DONE)

I'm sure there are other things that I will think of along the way, but I'm feeling a tad bit overwhelmed at the moment so I'll stop now. LOL

As for the weight loss thing. I've finally passed the 6 lb mark. I was stuck there for a couple weeks. Maybe even three. I weighed in this morning and I'm down 8 lbs. Now that being said, I probably gained those 2 frustrating pounds back tonight when we went to dinner. We had Mexican. I have to say though that I can tell I've been eating less. I couldn't eat anywhere near as much as usual. I didn't come close to finishing my plate.

I had a feeling it would happen, but........

I'm not happy about it. Drew Bennett is no longer a Titan. All through the season I kept saying that he wasn't playing up to his potential (he missed a lot of balls that he would normally catch) and that I didn't think he would be around next year. Seems that I was right. He has signed with the Rams. This makes me sad. He was one of my favorite players. I guess I should be happy that he didn't go to the Ravens. LOL

I love baby showers

I just got home from my sister-in-law's baby shower. It was a lot of fun. We went to the Savannah Tea House for afternoon tea. The food was delicious and the company was fantastic. I always enjoy socializing with that group. There was lots of really cute baby stuff to look through. Makes me catch baby fever though. LOL I can't wait until Evan and Ashley's little one arrives. Maybe holding a new baby will hold me over until we decide if we are actually having another one or if I have to learn to live with not having another. *sigh*

Severe weather threat

We dismissed from school 2 hours early today due to the severe weather threat. Luckily, we didn't get the bad weather they were expecting. It sounds like it all hit south of us. A small town in Alabama was hit pretty hard and at least 15 high school students were killed when the ceiling of their school collapsed. This is not only sad, but scary. We tell our students that one of the safest places they can be during weather like that is at school because they are so sturdily built. I know it's true, but having that happen scares me for myself and for my 2 kids since they are in a school building as well and I'm sure if my students hear about it they will freak out the next time we have bad weather. It will just add another hat to the many I wear as a teacher, I guess.

Instead of the Oscars.......

I'm watching Pirates of the Caribbean. I love me some Captain Jack!!! Johnny Depp as a pirate is just way too sexy!! *sigh* Oh and I can't forget about the ever handsome Orlando Bloom. *sigh*

Once again tragedy hits the Denver Broncos

Running back Damien Nash with the Denver Broncos has collapsed and died after playing in a charity basketball game. Click here for the story. This comes less than 2 months after another Denver player, Darrent Williams, was shot and killed. My heart and prayers go out to the Nash family as well as the Broncos family.

Nash also played for my Titans. He was a 5th round choice in 2005. He played in 3 games for the Titans.

Feeling better

Whew, that was rough, but I'm feeling much better today. I still have a sore throat, but it is bearable unless I sneeze, cough, or yawn. Then it really really hurts again. I'm not as tired today. I may have overdone a little bit yesterday. Michael let me sleep in which was much appreciated (thanks Honey, I love you!). After I got up I went shopping. I had to go get a baby shower gift, something to wear to said baby shower, and then groceries. I was completely exhausted when I got home. Even though, I still did laundry. Luckily I don't have much to do today. I have an errand to run with Michael and then I have to pick up one thing that I forgot yesterday. Then it is back to work tomorrow...................with no lesson plans. *sigh*

Sickness has once again come to our house.

No, it's not the kids this time either. It's me again. It started around 11pm last night with a massive sore throat. I woke up this morning with the same sore throat and a little headache and body aches thrown in (and they weren't from working out although I have some of those too). I made an appointment at the clinic as soon as I got to school. I went at 10am feeling like I'd been run over by a Mack truck. I have strep throat. This is only the second time in my entire life I've ever had it. Let me just say that it SUCKS!!! I've found out that you don't have to have a fever to feel completely miserable. I had the body aches, pains, and chills like a fever, but no fever. That did hit once I got home and went to bed though. I've been ordered to stay home tomorrow as well as leave work early today. I hate not being at school. The work just piles up horribly. I haven't even done lesson plans for next week. That means that Monday is going to be lots of fun. Watch, that will be the day that the principal comes around checking!

This seems to be the year of crazy sicknesses for me. I usually get sick in September with a cold and stay sick pretty much until spring. Not this year though. I've been pretty lucky in the cold department, but I've had pleurisy and now strep this year. I've been out of school 5 days because I was sick. That seldom happens. If I'm out it is usually because one of the kids are sick. I hate this!! I feel so guilty being out when I'm sick. Especially if I start feeling even a little bit better. Then I feel like I could have gone in. Know what I mean?

Innovative idea!!

I've decided that someone needs to open a drive through grocery store. I needed just 3 things from the store today and I really didn't want to go. I had worked out after school so I was tired and I had both kids with me. It is always a pain to get them out of their car seats just to have to put them back in less than 10 minutes later. Who do I need to talk to about this? LOL

Saddened, but not surprised

Once again Pacman Jones is in the news. This time he is wanted for questioning in a shooting in Las Vegas. *sigh* This really really saddens me. I nowhere near surprises though. Trouble seems to follow him around or he seems to find it. I haven't figured out which it is yet. One thing for sure is that he is headed down the wrong road and the Titans need to figure out if they want to travel that road with him. The saddest part is that he is living his dream (I assume), but he isn't living it responsibly. We can say that he is young and he will eventually grow up, but if he doesn't do it quickly he may find himself out of a job or worse yet at the end of his life.

I will be interested to see how the organization handles this one.

Ari refuses to get off the couch!

Since the carpets were torn up to dry and fans put to blow air under them she hasn't gotten off of the couch without being carried. Heck, she doesn't even like it if we leave the room and leave her alone on the couch. I guess the wavy carpet is freaking her out. LOL I hope they get here soon to fix it so she can get down and play. Well, that and this place is a mess and I can't take it much longer!! They should be here today to replace the padding and reattach the carpet. Please let it be soon!!

Here we go again.

It is 4:25am and I am sitting in my living room very very sleepy. At approximately 3:30am I wake up to this crazy noise. I get up to see what it is. I find water shooting from my laundry room across the hallway hitting the wall. *sigh* This is a lot of water people. Both hallways are soaking (L shaped hall), it has gone under the wall into Joshua's room, it is halfway across the living room, and in the kitchen. Maintenance is here working on it now and the carpet people are on the way, but this only means that the kids are going to be up incredibly early with that noise and I'm not sure what we are going to do today. We really can't be here with that much floor wet plus the air dryers are going to make it cold in here. There are places we could go, but then the dog wouldn't be able to go. I don't want her here alone for 2 reasons. 1. She would freak out with th noise of the fans. 2. I hate not being able to let her out to potty. Well, I guess there are 3 reasons. 3. It is going to be cold in here and I don't want her cold. I don't know what we are going to do. I'm so tired I can't think straight.

Oh, and the water was going inside my dryer. Are the apartment people responsible for replacing it if it is ruined? If not, will renters insurance cover it?

UPDATE: Joshua got up as I was typing this and Michael took him to our room so maybe he will go back to sleep. Crossing my fingers.

Friday weigh in!

Well, I stepped on the scale this morning and I'm down 5 pounds!! WOOHOO!!! I worked out 4 days this week and made sure I watched what I ate. I'm feeling pretty good. Yes, I realize that the first 5 lbs are the easiest to lose and the next few are going to be more difficult and it's not going to happen as fast. I'm just excited that I stuck with it all week. LOL I even resisted the Valentine candy!

We worked out again today and I'm not quite as sore. My abs are still hurting, but nothing unbearable unless I cough.............which of course I started doing today! We have a 3 day weekend this week so hopefully if I am coming down with something it will pass over the weekend and not prevent me from working out next week. I'm also hoping I can keep the eating thing in check over the weekend. We will be stuck inside with snow (so they say) and I tend to get the munchies when I get bored so it may be a little difficult. *sigh* I will try though!

Bad day for a teacher to be on a diet!

Yep, I've decided that Valentine's Day is a bad day for a teacher to try to be on a diet. I got so many pieces of chocolate and other assorted candies that I lost count. I was good though. I only ate one piece of chocolate and a cupcake without the icing. Luckily, I was able to work out after school. That makes me feel somewhat better.

Speaking of working out..................I'm not quite as sore today. We did Pilates though and worked our abs a lot so I'm sure they will be screaming by morning. LOL My inner thighs are still sore too, but bearable. I will, however, be glad when this soreness goes away. I think we are going to take a break tomorrow. I think our bodies need it. At least I know mine does!!

Tuesday, February 13, 2007

Owwwww!!!

OMG!!! I'm so freaking sore!! We did an instructional Tae Bo workout yesterday and the real thing today. I had some sore muscles from yesterday's workout, but nothing compared to today! Part of it may be that I've been sitting still since I got home and just now made a move other than my hands on the keyboard. LOL I know better than to just sit and let my muscles tighten up. Ugh!!

I'm fighting a craving to eat right now too and not just something good for me. I want good stuff, not good for me stuff. I'm fighting though and determined to win. I do need to figure out what is for dinner though. I may have to have a Coke today too. I didn't have one yesterday and I'm paying for it with a massive headache today. I'm thinking that I will drink a Coke every other day. It is better than what I was doing, but I still get the caffeine and the wonderful taste of a nice ice cold Coke. LOL

I hope that I am able to move tomorrow and workout. How long does this soreness last when you first start working out?

Monday, February 12, 2007

I'm feeling good!

I ate well today(didn't even have a coke.........I'm sure I will pay for that with a massive headache tonight or tomorrow) and worked out. The ladies from school and I did some Tae Bo which I am feeling right about now. I've been sitting down for about an hour now and I'm starting to feel the pain of working out. It feels great though. I weighed in this morning and it is pretty embarrassing. I'll post weight loss on Fridays to see how I'm doing.

Watching the Pro Bowl

*sigh* Last football game of the season. This makes me sad. I'll have to put a countdown ticker on the blog for the first game of next season.

I'm watching my current favorite QB, Vince Young, play for the AFC right now. He just led a drive down the field for a touchdown. It was pretty much him and L.T. Did you know that V.Y. is the first rookie QB to go to the Pro Bowl since my all time favorite QB, Dan Marino, did it in 1983? Yep, I know how to pick 'em. LOL

Anyway, go AFC!!

Update: AFC won!! WOOHOO!! Just barely though. A field goal got it with no time left on the clock.

And, can I just say that I really really want to go to Hawaii. The scenery shots they were showing were awesome!! One day I will get there!!

The journey begins

The weight loss journey that is. A group of us started working out today after school. It was somewhat hilarious, but it was fun and we can all motivate each other and kick each other in the butt if we don't show up each afternoon. We are accountable! This is a good thing for me. Otherwise I will get lazy and decide not to go.

I've decided that I am going to set mini goals. Like 10 lbs at a time. That way I can celebrate after each 10 lbs and feel like I am making progress. I've started this journey many times in the past and have failed miserably. I'm hoping that this time is different.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I'm going to say it again!!

I LOVE EMMITT SMITH!! LOL

I'm sitting here watching mindless tv and who has a cameo appearance on "How I Met Your Mother" but Mr. Smith. It was a nice surprise. I'm missing Dancing with the Stars about now. *sigh*

Edited to say: Must be retired football player night on CBS. Jerry Rice just had a cameo on "The Class." It's a good night for an avid football fan! LOL

Lost a Super Bowl wager last night. So................

Sal, you are a football god!! No one knows more about football and picking winners than you do. I will never doubt your football prowess ever again. I bow down to your superior knowledge of all things football!

Enjoy it while you can Sal! A new football season will be here before you know it. And, just so you know...............I never really expected the Bears to win. I just didn't WANT Peyton to win. LOL My college football blood just won't let me do it.

Snow Scenery

Michael got some pretty cool shots today in the snow. The pond shots haven't been uploaded yet, but I'll add them when they are done.

Snow Day #2~With actual snow this time!!

We finally got some snow. It's not much, but school was out again today and the kids were excited about the snow. Joshua more so than Ari, but they both had fun. We went walking to see the ducks at the pond, Joshua threw snowballs at Daddy and ate his first snow. He really enjoyed his time outside today. Here are some pictures from our day.

As Michael said...........Even the grill was happy about the snow. LOL

Joshua asking for someone to come play with him!

Ari wasn't too sure about all that white stuff.

Just looking out admiring the view.

Joshua having a good time and Ari still unsure.

Heck, even Georgia loved the snow.

Unplugged!!

What is it about this man? He's been my "crush" since I was 13 years old. I'm glad I have an understanding husband!! LOL

Here is the unplugged version of Lay Your Hands On Me. *sigh*

WOOHOO!! Snow day!!

We are home today for a snow day. I'm not really sure why since there is no snow on the ground at my house. Granted the county I live in didn't close school, but all those around us did. The one I teach in did. I'm not complaining! The kids are playing nicely for the most part. Michael is sleeping off the "man cold" that I hope doesn't turn into the flu. He was feeling pretty achy this morning. I have chili on the stove (it smells really really good!) for lunch and I'm still sitting around in my pjs at 10:30am. Can't beat that.

Supposedly we are expecting more of the white stuff tonight, but considering we were expecting 1-3 inches last night I'm not holding my breath. I could deal with another snow day though. ;-)

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!

Well, today my youngest turns 2 years old. I can't believe she is already two! *SNIFF* *SNIFF*

These two pictures were taken at the hospital the day she was born.

This is her 1st birthday.

This picture was taken this past summer and is one of my favorites.

This was taken during this year's Christmas card photo session.

She has grown so much. Her personality has really emerged in the last few months. She is definitely all girl. Her favorite color is pink and she loves shoes. She can be loud and very demanding, but she still has that shyness. I'm not sure I know how to deal with a girly girl. She is beginning to fight back when her brother or friends take her toys or just irritate her though. It has been so much fun watching her become a little girl and leave the baby stage behind. It is also a little sad for me. She is, after all, my baby.

Happy Birthday sweet girl! I love you very much!!

I'm about to jinx the hell out of us!! LOL

We are FINALLY getting some winter stuff!!! It supposedly comes in on Wednesday night/Thursday morning! I'm so excited! They are calling for a couple inches of snow. Okay, those of you who get lots more than that can just stop laughing now! Yes, we in the south are pretty pitiful when it comes to our snow excitement. LOL Heck a measly little 2 inches will keep us home from school!

Name 3 things you want to do before you die.

I have a pretty long list, but these are my top three:

1. Visit every NFL stadium and watch a game.
2. Visit every major theme park and ride the roller coasters.
3. For one season go to every UGA football game home and away.

What do you want to do?

Damn I'm good!!

The bunk beds were delivered today right before Michael had to go to work. So, it was left up to me to get them put together so Joshua would have a place to sleep tonight. Only problem was.............no instructions!! Turned out not to be much of a problem though. Once I was able to determine which screws went with which part the rest was a piece of cake. Well not so much keeping the kids out of the room so they wouldn't get hurt. At first it was easy because I put the bottom part of the top bunk at the door and they couldn't move it. LOL Anyway, the beds are put together and ready for a 3 year old to sleep. We still need to get the twin mattress for the top bunk, but at least he can sleep on the bottom for now. There is quite a bit more space in his room now too.

We put Joshua's old bed in Ari's room because we are missing the rails and slats for the wrought iron bed. They are at Granddad's house in his attic so as soon as we get over there to get them I'll trade those beds. I put her new comforter set on..........the one she picked out and let me just say that man it is PINK!! I also bought her a lamp with a pink shade and when it is turned on the entire room has a pink glow. For a mommy who doesn't like pink that much it's not a place enjoy being in! LOL I do love that it looks more like a little girl's room now though. We will see how she sleeps in a big bed tonight. Hopefully since she didn't get a nap today we will have no problems.

Anyway, both rooms are done.........for the most part. I'll post pictures when we get them completely done.

Do you believe in ghosts/spirits?

This question was posed to me tonight so I am asking you. Do YOU believe in ghosts?

I believe. I have never had a real experience with ghosts other than a Ouija board experience that made a whole group of us (grown men included) swear off of them forever. I've had feelings that I wasn't alone in a room and such too, but I've never seen anything. I have a cousin, however, who did. She lives in my grandparents' old house and she was sleeping in my grandmother's room. She saw Ma one night. She has refused to sleep in that room since then. No matter that we tell her Ma was there to check on her and that she would never do anything to hurt her she just can't bring herself to sleep in there anymore. I swear that my kids can see my grandparents. There have been many occasions where they are looking off at something/someone laughing, reaching up and playing and I can't get their attention. One night I was putting Joshua to bed and he was looking over my shoulder just talking and laughing. He wouldn't look at me. I just sat there watching him and wishing I could see them too. When he was finished playing (or they were) he smiled and said, "Night night!" Then he looked at me as if surprised I was sitting there.

Have you ever had an experience with a ghost? Do you believe? I'd love to hear your story.

*SIGH*

That's all.....................just *SIGH*

This is actually a message board signature that a friend of mine made for me. It's one of my favorites so I thought I would share. LOL

Go ahead, feel free to drool. ;-)

SCORE!!!!

How's this for luck? As you know, we have been looking for bunk beds for Joshua's room. Well, guess what happens today? A fellow teacher sends out an email at school announcing that she is giving away (you know..........for FREE) a bunk bed/futon combo to the first person to reply. I quick send her a message, but unfortunately I'm not the first. I find out who was and go to give her a hard time. She ends up telling me that I can have it!! I didn't intend to get it. I just wanted to mess with her, but she said she didn't really need it so I could have it!! I'm so excited!! We still have to get a mattress for the twin bed up top, but that's no biggie. Now I can buy linens for both beds immediately instead of getting them along and along like I was going to do.

Now all we have to do is figure out how to get it here. She doesn't think it will fit in my van even with the 3rd row down and the captain's chairs out. We don't know anyone with a truck (how sad is that?). She said she would talk to her husband about delivering it for me. That would be great. Hopefully we will have it by this weekend.

I'm taking his current mattress and putting it on the wrought iron frame I have for Ari so she will get out of her toddler bed too. We will sell his old full sized bed frame. I now have to decide how to decorate their rooms. Joshua has sports posters (Braves and Titans...................hmmm no UGA stuff..............gotta do something about that!) on his walls now and I guess I could stay with that theme. Ari doesn't have a theme so I'll be starting from scratch with hers.....................ohhhh fun!!!

Know anybody who needs a full sized bed frame? Let me know, I'm selling for cheap. ;-)

rotten, no good, very bad day!

Four hours of sleep + PMS + loved one in the hospital = very bitchy emotional basket case.

Da Bears!!

Well, heck. None of the teams I wanted to go to the Super Bowl are going. *sigh* The New Orleans Saints (my last remaining team) just lost to the Chicago Bears by the score of 39-14. I don't really dislike the Bears, but I was really hoping the Saints could go to Miami. I will still be pulling for the Bears to win, but maybe I shouldn't say that out loud. Seems I'm bad luck for the teams I've pulled for so far. With my Titans out of contention I picked a team to pull for and every time I picked a team they lost. Talk about depressing. LOL Maybe I should pull for one of the AFC teams (Patriots or Colts~not determined as of this post) in the Super Bowl therefore ensuring that the Bears win. Yes, I am normally an AFC fan when it comes down to AFC v. NFC, but I really really really dislike both the Patriots and the Colts. I'm looking for a way for both teams to lose tonight's game. Much like I do when the UT Vols play the Gators. Unfortunately I've not ever been able to come up with a way for that to happen so I guess I need to figure out which team is the lesser of two evils. I'll get back to you on that one. It's a very difficult decision...........at least for me. LOL

Ugh, looking for bunk beds

I'm finding some pretty good prices through eBay on the bunk bed frames, but the dang mattresses are outrageous!! And, I have to have 2 for the bed. Michael isn't happy about spending money, but I keep telling him that at least I have the frame for Ari's big girl bed and we can use the mattress and box springs off of Joshua's current bed. We need the bunk beds in his room so he has more play space and then Christian will have a place to sleep when he visits. I'm getting a little impatient about getting it now that I did get the go ahead from Michael.

I need a nap

I got very little sleep last night. I was up late trying to decide if I was going to keep Joshua home again today. He was sick the night before throwing up, but seemed to be better yesterday. Well, he refused to eat dinner last night and was complaining that his tummy hurt. I didn't know if should keep him home one more day or not. The decision was taken out of my hands at around 11pm. He woke up whining that his tummy and head hurt and about 5 minutes later he puked again. So I called off work to stay home with him. I finally went to bed around midnight and he was still up with his daddy. I'm not sure what time they went to bed, but around 2:30am Joshua fell out of his bed and was awake for 45+ minutes whining. He was unhurt and wouldn't tell me why he was still whining other than saying, "I just want to cry." Yeah, that didn't make me very happy. He finally went to sleep, but about 30-45 minutes later he was awake again. This time only for about 30 minutes or so. I finally got back to sleep around 4am and then Ari was awake at 6:30am. *sigh* So now I'm exhausted and in need of a nap. Problem is neither of the kids is taking one. I'm actually not forcing it so that maybe (just maybe) they will go down easily tonight at bedtime. Makes for a pretty grumpy mommy though especially when everything out of the 3 year old's mouth is whiny and he keeps aggravating the snot out of the almost 2 year old.

Trying something new with Ari tonight

Okay, this whole "I'm not going to sleep until 10pm" thing that Ari is going through has to stop. So, tonight I tried something different. I had dinner finished earlier than usual and both kids have had a bath already. I'm giving Ari a little down time before she has to go to bed. Usually we are rushing to get things done before it is bedtime and it kinda gets her all wound up. I think that may have something to do with her not sleeping. I've also given her medicine for her stuffy/runny nose. Now, I'm sure the medicine will help some, but I'm hoping that this new routine will be just the thing. Especially after today. We had a very rough morning at home and she had a rough morning at school with a couple meltdowns. It's all because she isn't getting enough sleep. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

Monday, January 15, 2007

Ugh...............dammit!!

There are no winter coats for boys to be found around here!! I found Ari one today for all of $8, but no one has boy coats in Joshua's size. Yes, I realize I should have already gotten them, but a family member usually gets them one for Christmas and they didn't this year. Then it was just too damn warm to even think about it. Now our highs this week are going to be in the 30s and 40s so they need them. We have been to 6 different stores today and now home with nothing. It's raining like crazy and I just couldn't get them in and out of the car anymore. I don't know what I'm going to do now. *sigh*

So, who is your team in the Super Bowl?

All of my teams are out of contention this year so now I have to decide which team in the playoffs I want to pull for. I think I'm leaning towards the New Orleans Saints. There is just something about them this year. Especially after the whole Katrina mess. Heck, I even cried on their opening night at the Super Dome. I'm just hoping the Colts don't make it...........or the Patriots for that matter. I guess that means I want the Chargers to win the AFC. LOL

Who wouldn't want more of these lying around their house?

*sigh* I have puppy fever big time right now. Just look at her. Isn't she so cute? How could you not want a house full of ones just like her? I don't know what Michael thinks is worse..........puppy fever or baby fever. LOL Neither are good for the money situation! Oh well, I guess I can put a little money back every week until I save enough money for the next bulldog puppy. After all, Georgia needs a playmate.

Picture sharing time

Yeah, I'm in the box....................so what?!

Wow! It's a long way down!!

Great shot of Joshua at the beach on Amelia Island.

Tired boy and his daddy.

Looking out over the sea...........or the intercoastal as the case may be.

I hate forgetting things!!

So, we have friends coming by tomorrow for the night. I've been looking forward to this for awhile. They are great friends and I don't get to see them often. They live in Michigan and we are about the half way point between that and his parents. We all enjoy them being able to stop here to take a break from driving. Anyway, I forgot that it was this weekend!! My house is a disaster!! My Christmas tree is still up! And, I have tons of laundry! Ugh! I've been working since I got home from work today and it looks okay, but tomorrow will be pretty busy. I have to finish up the laundry, take the tree and decorations down, sweep and mop, vacuum, and clean the guest bathroom. Not to mention cleaning the kids' rooms. *SIGH* So much for a nice family day out tomorrow.

Back to work *SIGH*

Yep, went back to work yesterday. Luckily we didn't have kids yesterday. It was a workday. I got a lot of work done which is great. The kids came back today. They were pretty good actually. I think they were glad to be back. I, on the other hand, was not. I would have loved a few more days. Oh well, only 9 more weeks until Spring Break! LOL

How incredibly sad

Sorry to start the new year off with such a sad story. Corner Back Darrent Williams with the Denver Broncos was shot and killed in a drive by shooting last night. A car pulled up beside his Hummer limo and started shooting. He was killed and 2 others were injured. Click here for the story.

This just sickens me. Why do people do stuff like this? These people have completely changed the course of 2 children's lives. They are now without a father. The person/people who have done this have also ruined their own lives. They will get caught and they will go to jail for the rest of their lives. It just makes no sense.

My heart goes out to the family of Darrent Williams..........his real family as well as his football family.

Happy New Year

I hope everyone has a very safe and happy New Year tonight. And, a wonderful 2007. I'll be sitting home ringing in the New Year. Michael has to work. Luckily, I have some adult beverages I can consume after the kids go to bed. I'm going to bake a New Year cake today for the kids. I get to try out my new baking pans I got for Christmas! LOL

Damn!! Titans 23 Patriots 40

Well, it was a fun year overall. The Titans couldn't get it done today. We lost to the Patriots while 2 of the 3 things that needed to happen with other teams happened. Cincinnati lost to the Steelers and Jacksonville lost to Kansas City. What is really going to be frustrating is if San Francisco beats Denver. *SIGH* I guess I'll pull for the Broncos now. I like their rookie QB, Jay Cutler. He played college ball at Vandy. It'd be nice to see him go to the playoffs in his rookie year. I also have a UGA boy on the team(Champ Bailey). Micheal will be pulling for the Ravens since Steve McNair went there when he left the Titans, but I just can't bring myself to pull for the Ravens for any reason.

I really tried not to get my hopes up about us getting into the playoffs, but it didn't work. We were playing so well and winning against huge odds. Heck, we overcame a 0-5 start to the year. We ended the season 8-8 which while isn't great it isn't bad considering our start. And, it was even good enough for us to still be in the playoff hunt the last week of the season.

I'd like to thank the Titans and Coach Fisher for a very entertaining year. I've had a blast watching. I'm definitely looking forward to the next few years. VY is going to be so much fun to watch. I have high hopes for the years to come. I'll be counting the days until next season.

EDITED TO ADD: You've got to be kidding me!! All 3 scenarios with the other teams that needed to happen for us to get in the playoffs HAPPENED!!!! Only thing is.........we needed to win and we didn't. Well hell!!

Freshman QB referenced by NFL announcers

I'm sitting here watching my Tennessee Titans and the guys announcing the game just referenced my Dawgs QB, Matthew Stafford. Last night Stafford had a very good fake hand off play where he held the ball on his hip for what seemed like forever. Then he threw a completed pass. It was a great play. Well, the NFL announcers just made reference to it while talking about a fake by the Patriots. Pretty cool if you ask me. Stafford getting some notice as a freshman even if it is just from the announcers. I'm sure he is getting some notice from others too though. He really is going to be an awesome QB.

2006 Chick-fil-A Bowl~UGA v. Virginia Tech

Okay kids I am going to try this live blogging thing. I will be watching the football game and blogging about the good, the bad, and the ugly. We will see how it goes. Hopefully I won't get bored with it or so frustrated with my Dawgs that I give up.

7:15~UGA kicks off to VT. VT starts their drive on their own 23. On their second play from scrimmage they get a 15 yard personal foul penalty. They go 3 and out.

7:19~UGA's Lumpkin (6) runs for 23 yards on 2nd down. They are now at the VT 40.

7:24~UGA kicks a field goal. Score UGA 3 VT 0.

7:29~Darn!! VT called time out. Wish they didn't. The snap was over the QB's head and UGA picked it up. Would have been an easy TD. *SIGH*

7:37~VT punts to UGA. UGA starts at their own 9 yard line. Not a very good return for us, but it was a 50 yard punt for VT.

7:41~Not a good possession for us. We go 3 and out and have to punt from our own end zone. Great punt 49 yards and -1 on the return. Still good field position for VT though.

7:48~Damn!! Stafford throws and interception deep in our territory (our 17 yard line). Come on defense lets hold them to 3. Ticky tack personal foul call on us too.

7:55~Double Damn! VT scores a TD on 4th down. Score UGA 3 VT 7

8:02~Our offense is not playing well at all. Now our special teams isn't working well either. VT almost returned the punt for a TD. It was a 54 yard kick and a 54 yard return. Geez, we may have well just gave them the ball and forget about kicking it to them. I need a rolly eye emoticon.

8:11~Officials reverse call on the field and call a nonTD a TD. Yeah, they probably would have gotten it on the next play, but that's not the point. Score UGA 3 VT 14. Ugh! I'm biting my nails. Freakin' football!

8:17~Dropped balls.........dropped balls.............dropped balls! That would be the story so far. Does this surprise anyone? As for the 3rd down play........Stafford sacked. Man oh man this is getting ugly.

8:21~Fuck! (sorry mom) VT scores another TD on a 53 yard pass play. Score UGA 3 VT 21. Told you this was getting ugly.

8:26~Ugh, another 3 and out. We keep giving them good field position. I sure hope they can make some adjustments during half time or it's going to be a very long night.

8:29~Half time................finally!

9:13~Sorry folks. Weird things were happening with blogger and I couldn't edit my posts. We still aren't playing well on offense, but Coutu just kicked a 51 yard field goal. Score UGA 6 VT 21

9:15~WOOHOO! Onside kick by UGA and recovered by UGA on our 48. Okay boys lets get a TD!!

9:21~Another dropped pass. This has been a problem all year.

9:23~TOUCHDOWN UGA!!! About time!! Score UGA 13 VT 21

9:30~Okay my boys start of the 4th quarter. This one is ours. Let's take this baby home!! (VT has the ball still though.)

9:35~UGA intercepted the ball!! VT got a personal foul penalty on top of it. UGA gets the ball on VT 43. Huge pass play............Milner tackled on 2 yard line!! Let's go boys!!!

9:39~TOUCHDOWN UGA!! Lumpkin runs it in. Going for 2............got it!! Score UGA 21 VT 21

9:44~VT fumbles...........recovered by UGA. We get the ball on VT 19!!!!

9:45~Dammit!! Another dropped pass. Would have been a TD. That is 7 for the night!

9:47~Ugh!! Had to go for a field goal. Damn dropped passes!! Score UGA 24 VT 21 Come on defense lets hold them now and get that ball back.

9:53~UGA intercepts and is down on the 1 foot line!! WOOHOO!!!!! Our defense is kicking butt...ummm bottom (can't say "butt" in our house or the 3 year old gets upset. LOL) right now!!

9:57~Dammit why throw on 3rd down when you are inches from the goal line? Okay, redemption. We went for it on 4th down and TOUCHDOWN UGA!!! Score UGA 31 VT 21

10:04~Another ticky tack penalty on us. It was a pass interference call, but the offensive player pushed off. It should have been offensive pass interference.

10:06~VT throws another interception!! This time we will start on our own 10 yard line! Still..........WOOHOO!!!! They didn't score!!

10:12~What a horrible punt! It was 16 yards b/c of a bad snap. VT gets really good field position. Okay defense lets hold them here...............please!

10:16~VT kicks a field goal. Score UGA 31 VT 24 Now we need for our offense to get some first downs. Plus, we need to watch for an onside kick here..................yep and UGA gets it!

10:26~UGA gets the ball back with 5 seconds left on the clock!!

10:27~FINAL SCORE........UGA 31 VT 24

Whew, this was more difficult than I thought it was going to be. LOL This was a pretty good game...........in the 2nd half!! This is the biggest comeback for a UGA team under Coach Richt. We scored 28 unanswered points in the 2nd half. This is also the first time in UGA history that we have beat 3 consecutive ranked opponents! Go Dawgs..........go Dawgs...........go Dawgs!!

Thoughts on today's Chick-fil-A Bowl

I'm a little nervous. I hate that there is so much time between the last game of the season and the bowl game. UGA's last game was on November 25 so it's been over a month since they've been on the field. They were playing pretty well there at the end and with this long of a break I'm afraid they are going to lose their rhythm. I guess the good thing is that Virginia Tech is in the same boat. It's sure to be a pretty ugly game at least in the beginning. I think once they settle down (both teams) it should be a good game.

What are you thoughts on the game or do you even care? LOL I know I have a couple UGA fans who read this very random blog, but there are several others who couldn't care less. (Can't even imagine that though!! LOL)

SEC Bowl results

We have 9 teams in bowl games this year. I may have to do some research to see how many teams the other conferences have in the post season. I'm thinking that 9 out of 12 is pretty high. I know we are the best and toughest conference to play in, but I just wonder how our bowl season stacks up to others. If you already know this answer please feel free to leave me a comment.

EDITED WITH ABOVE INFORMATION: The SEC leads the league with 9 teams in bowl games. We are followed closely by the ACC and Big 12 who both have 8 teams. Then comes the Big 10 and Pac-10 with 7. Conference USA and the Big East both have 5 while WAC and MWC come in with 4. The 2 conferences with the least are MAC with 3 and Sun Belt with 2. Oh, and Notre Dame and Navy are not members of any confernece. So, again we find out that the SEC is the best conference. We already knew that though, didn't we? ;-)

Alabama lost to Oklahoma State in the Independence Bowl 34-41

Kentucky beat Clemson in the Music City Bowl 28-20

South Carolina beat Houston in the Liberty Bowl 44-36

Georgia beats Virginia Tech in the Chick-fil-A Bowl 31-24

Tennessee lost to Penn State in the Outback Bowl 20-10 (bad for the SEC, but hee hee UT lost!)

Auburn beat Nebraska in the Cotton Bowl 17-14

Arkansas lost to Wisconsin in the Capital One Bowl 17-14

LSU beat Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl 41-14

Florida beats Ohio State in the BCS National Championship 41-14 (damn the hated Gators won, but..............yay THE Ohio State University lost!! I hate that I have to hear about the damn Gators being National Champs for an entire year, but I'm glad th SEC pulled this one out.We apparently aren't very good as a conference, but hey who can dispute the butt kicking of last night? We'll still get no respect next year. *SIGH*)

Right now we are sitting at 6-3. I'll update as the games happen.

On with the show!

Okay, no more about the break in. I've made all the calls I need to make and talked to everyone I needed to talk to. I'm moving on now.

Our vacation was wonderful. We were on Amelia Island in Florida. I grew up there and my family is all still there. It was great seeing my mom. I really miss her. We did some shopping of course. LOL I think we opened presents 3 or 4 times altogether. The kids loved it. We will open presents one more time at least. Christian is coming over on his next day off. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of the them opening their presents. They were very excited though. Joshua loved his big boy bicycle and even wears his helmet. Ari loved her baby and stroller. I don't think she has stopped playing with it yet. They baby is almost as big as she is, but she doesn't care.

It took us almost 12 hours to get home yesterday. Traffic in Atlanta was horrible as usual. This time, though, we got caught on both the north side and the south side. When we unpacked the car last night we just piled everything in the living room. Talk about a huge mess!! So, today has been very busy. We've cleaned out the living room (now the kids' rooms are a mess! LOL) and I've started laundry. The kitchen and bar are still a disaster, but they can wait awhile. I had to go grocery shopping this morning since there was absolutely nothing in this house to eat. The kids were starving of course. Michael had to go to work today so now I have the kids down for naps and I'm playing on the computer. I should be continuing to clean, but it's just not happening now. The living room is clean so that will do for now. LOL

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Santa was good to you. If you want to see the pictures Michael did take just click here. There are some pretty good shots and please ignore the pictures of me. They are not the good shots!!

It's always nice to come home to.......

a house that has been broken into....................NOT!! We got home from Florida today to find that we had been robbed!! Yep, some shithead petty thief broke into our house and took my jewelry and a jar of coins. They left the tv and all the dvds, the dvd player, and stereo. They just searched in our bedroom. The kids' rooms were untouched thankfully. I've had an officer here to take the report and now the crime scene guy is here taking finger prints. As much as I watch CSI I never even dreamed that they would be in my house taking prints. LOL I've also had the maintenance guy here fixing our sliding glass door. It's been a busy night. I've just now gotten to eat dinner. It is 11pm. We drove for 12 hours home so I'm completely exhausted. I think I'm handling it pretty well though. I'm a little nervous, but I think I'm more ticked off to tell the truth. How dare someone come into my house and go through my things!! It just pisses me off!!

Merry Christmas!!

I would just like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. We leave tomorrow for Amelia Island and I don't know if we are taking the laptop. There may be no updates for about a week.

I'll be sure to update with Christmas pictures when I return. I hope everyone has a great holiday and stay safe and warm.

What the heck is up with my daughter?

The last few nights she has not wanted to go to bed. She has been up until 10pm or later. Her bedtime is 6:30pm and I've put her down at that time each night. She just doesn't stay in bed. I have to put her back to bed a dozen or more times each night until she finally falls asleep. Why has she turned into a night owl? This is not a good thing. Mommy isn't a night owl!! I really hope that this changes really really soon.

Tuesday, December 19, 2006

WOOHOO!! I'm free!!

Well, for 2 weeks anyway. Today was the last day of school until January 3. Actually, the teachers have to be back on the second for a workday, but I consider that a "free" day too.........no kids! I really needed this break. I was getting incredibly stressed out. I know that most of it was just the last week before Christmas break is horrible. The kids are so excited that it's hard to get them to concentrate on anything. Either way, I needed this break.

Tomorrow will be a busy day. I have to take the kids for haircuts, wrap the remaining presents, clean the house really well, clean out the van (so we have room for the presents, luggage, and dog), pack our stuff, oh......and do laundry. Geez, I just keep thinking of things I have to do.

Luckily, I'm finished shopping. Well, except for 3 people. I know what I am getting them though. I just haven't picked the stuff up yet. I won't see them until after Christmas so I'll just wait to do that.

I'm going to need a vacation from my vacation!!

Some days I hate my job

I can't go into it, but there really are days that I hate my job. These days are seldom due to my kids and this time is no different. I'll leave it up to you to figure out just who caused it today. I left with a migraine again today.

I'm a snowman

You Are a Snowman

Friendly and fun, you enjoy bringing holiday cheer to everyone you know!

This makes me so sad

One of the missing climbers on Mt. Hood was found dead today. I can't even imagine what their families are going through right now. The not knowing would drive me crazy. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families.

A Charlie Brown Christmas

My kids are mesmerized! They are both sitting in front of the television with eyes glued to Good 'Ol Charlie Brown. It's good to know that the Christmas shows I loved as a kid have stood the test of time. I'm loving watching them with my kids now.

Tomorrow is his birthday! (12/18)

Happy Birthday Honey!! I love you! Sorry you have to work, but hopefully you will enjoy the cake before you have to go in.

They did it again! 24-17

The Titans won! This time, though, it wasn't the offense. The defense scored 3 touchdowns!! We returned 2 interceptions for touchdowns as well as a fumble! It was incredibly fun to watch. The announcers kept talking about how the Jags offense was dominating, but heck they only scored 17 pts and had 4 turnovers.......with 3 of them returned all the way. Yeah, they kept the ball for 44.22 minutes as opposed to our 15.38 minutes, but hey when you have a defense who is returning turnovers for touchdowns I guess your offense doesn't need to be on the field much. LOL

Okay, I'm looking at some of the stats and I can't believe that with these two teams and the animosity between them there was only 1 penalty in the entire game!! I even remember what it was. It was a face mask penalty on the Jags....the 15 yard variety. That really amazes me. I don't think I've watched a game with only 1 penalty in a very long time............if ever.

Good job guys! Y'all are definitely making this season fun to watch!

The never ending week

I swear this has been the longest week. My 1st graders are driving me completely batty. This is the absolute worst week of the entire school year. Worse even than the week before summer vacation. The kids are way too excited to sit still. I left school on Monday with the worst migraine. I just knew I was going to be sick. Drinking a Coke didn't even work and that usually fixes me right up. I had to come home, take some medicine, and lie on the couch. I put Star Wars in the DVD player and let the kids watch that while I slept. I knew that it would keep them occupied and quiet while the medicine did it's job. I think today was actually the first day I left school without a headache. Bad thing is I have one more day this week. We will be in school 2 days next week, but they really aren't "teaching" days. We will be doing fun activities and watching some Christmas movies. I won't need to keep their attention for academic reasons really.

Okay, I think I'm done rambling now. ;-)

Wednesday, December 13, 2006

Send a "Thank You" to a soldier

Just click here to send a postcard to a soldier overseas. It's free and I'm sure greatly appreciated by those who receive them. I know I love to get mail here at home so I could imagine how much the soldiers so far from home enjoy getting it.

Make your own snowflake

Go ahead click here to go make your own. It's fun..........and addicting!

Welcome back to Texas Vince!!

How 'bout them Titans!!!

What? Did you think you would get through more than a week with no football talk? It's still football season, isn't it? LOL

Welcome home Vince!! Great game my boys! I was worried there for a little while, but our fearless leader lead us to victory once again. I think it was fitting that he run for the winning touchdown. It was, after all, his homecoming. I have to wonder where this team would be if we would have started Vince at the beginning of the season. He sure is fun to watch and the team seems to have a lot of confidence in him. It looks like they are having so much fun these days. I'm excited about the coming years.

Some stats from today's game.

Vince was 19 of 29 for 218 yards, 1 interception, 7 rushes for 86 yards, and 1 rushing touchdown. He was spreading the ball around again throwing to 8 different receivers. Drew Bennett was the leading receiver with 6 catches for 113 yards. The leading rusher was Travis Henry with 20 carries for 88 yards.

And, the other game of interest for me today was Jags/Colts. Colts lost! WOOHOO!! They lost big too (44-17). The Colts defense is horrible. The gave up 375 yards of rushing! Even Peyton couldn't keep them in the game with that kind of defense. I like Dan Marino's take on the situation. He says that the Colts have a "drug" problem. "They are being drug up one side of the field and drug down the other." LOL Seems to fit.

Ari is in underwear today

Oh my!! I decided to try it today. It has been my plan all along to start potty training her over Christmas break anyway, but I figured I'd see what happened today. So far so good. No accidents, but she hasn't gone on the potty yet either. I'll be putting her in a diaper for nap time of course, but I'm going to try to keep her in underwear all day.

*SNIFF* *SNIFF* My baby is growing up.

Kids and Christmas trees

Ugh!! Our Christmas tree has been up for a week now. It seems that in the last 2 days my children have been messing with it more than they did when I first put it up. You would think that it would be more interesting to them in the beginning. It is looking kinda pitiful right now with bare spots where Ari has taken ornaments off and Joshua has tried to put them back. Only problem is that he is putting them back in different spots or trying to put them higher so Ari can't reach them. *SIGH*

Christmas shopping

So, how far have you gotten on your Christmas list? I'm almost done, thankfully. I have a couple more things to get for Michael (Yes, Honey, I know you told me not to get you anything else.) and something for a couple other people. The kids are done though. Mom wants me to pick up something for one of my nephews that she can't seem to find in Florida. We are drawing names for extended family and I'll get those names this weekend so hopefully I can get it knocked out completely in the next couple days.

Oww! Oww! Oww!! Hand cramp!

I just sat down and addressed our Christmas cards. Boy do we need a printer. Then, I could just type them in and print them out. Alas, we don't have one that works so I have to hand write them all out. That was 51 total cards. Luckily I had address labels for the return address even though they have our old address. At that point I really didn't care if it was the wrong address. LOL At least it is done and now all I have to do is go mail them. That is usually the hardest part for me.......finding the time to stop at the post office and buy stamps. I'm making it a priority for tomorrow. I'll let you know if it actually gets done! LOL

Ah, the childhood memories!

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
Frosty the Snowman

I just sat down with my 3 year old to watch both of these shows. Man do they bring back lots of memories of Christmases past! They are just as good now as they were when I was a kid. Or, maybe I'm just seeing them through the eyes of my kids. Joshua loved Rudolph. Every time a commercial would come on he would tell me that he wanted Rudolph back. He liked Frosty too. He thought that the magician was very mean and needed a time out. LOL I'm glad that he likes these shows. This is the first year we have watched them together and I hope to make it a holiday tradition.

We watched Frosty Returns too. This one is bad...........really bad! Tonight was the first time I'd seen it and I have to say that I think it will be the last. It didn't hold Joshua's interest either. Did I say that it was really really bad? No..........really!!

I want to go to Alaska

If for no other reason than to see this......Aurora Borealis.

Ain't she purty?

"I can smell them! Where are they? I know they are here somewhere!"

"Ah ha!! There they are! Should I chase them?"

The love of my life

I'm not sure how I got so lucky, but I'm thankful that I did. The more I talk to people online and in real life or the more stories I read in the news I realize just how wonderful my husband is. He loves me without measure and he treats me like I'm the most precious thing in his world. He isn't perfect, but it doesn't matter. He is perfect for me. I love him more than I know how to express and I just hope that he knows that.

Petty Rant! Feel free to ignore.

I HATE being sick! I knew it was pretty much inevitable since 4 out of the 5 daycare teachers had it and then Ari got it last Thursday. I figured we would have a really rough weekend with my or Joshua or both getting it. Didn't happen though. Noooo!! I got sick yesterday afternoon. I've thrown up 3 times (yeah I know you wanted to know that) and I had to stay home from work today. If I have to be sick why couldn't it have been the weekend? I can't afford to miss work. Now I'm afraid Joshua is going to get it this week and I'll have to miss another day of work. UGH!!!

*SIGH*

Man of the house?

Who do you think that would be in my house? Depends on the subject. LOL My wonderful husband has an idea. Go read it. Those who know me well will totally agree! LOL

Bowl Game Announcements for 2006

BCS Championship Game~Ohio State v. Florida (Can I just say.......BLECH!!!! I HATE the damn Gators!! I would have much rather seen Michigan play Ohio State. At least then I would have a team to root for. I just can't root for the damn Gators for any reason and I don't much like OSU either. I'm not going to enjoy this year's Championship game. I guess I should be happy that USC isn't playing again.)

My beloved Dawgs are going to the Chick-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta against Virginia Tech. This will be played on December 30 at 7pm CST. I know what I'll be doing that night!

For a complete list of the bowl games click here.

More football.

Titans 20 Colts 17

WOOOOOOHOOOOOO! I'm impressed. I'm lovin' young Vince Young!! He was my pick for us in the draft and I was so excited when the Titans made that pick. I have a feeling that the next few years are going to be fun!!

Today, Vince was 15 of 25 for 163 yards with 2 interceptions. He ran 9 times for 78 yards. Man is he fun to watch! He threw to 10 different receivers! Wow, talk about spreading the ball around. Heck, even Pacman caught a pass and no it wasn't an interception! He was playing on offense and it was for a 17 yard gain. For the win, Rob Bironas kicked a 60 yard (yes, you read that right.....60 yards!) field goal with 7 seconds left in the game. That tied him with 3 others for 4th longest field goal in the league. Impressive. It was also his career longest. Congrats to him. It was a fun game. I always enjoy seeing Peyton Manning lose a game. You know, being a Bulldog and all. LOL

Now I get to watch another rookie QB get his first NFL start. I'm pulling for Jay Cutler in tonight's Seattle/Denver game. He played really well in the preseason, but let's see how he does in a real game.

Football.........football...........football!!

I didn't think I'd have any interest in football today since my beloved Dawgs aren't playing, but dang I'm having fun!!

1. Georgia Tech lost the ACC Championship to Wake Forest! He! He! He!
2. USC lost to UCLA! He! He! He!
3. The hated Gators are in a fight for the the SEC Championship. GOOOO Arkansas!! I'll update this one later. UPDATE: Damn! The hated Gators pulled it out. I guess I couldn't win them all today. Sure does suck though.
4. I'm even watching Oklahoma v. Nebraska. I don't really care who wins this one though.

Ahhhh, I love college football!! It's always exciting. Makes me sad that we are coming to the end of another season. *SIGH*

Ugh, sick again!

Well, sickness has once again invaded our home. *SIGH* Ari was up all night throwing up. Poor girl. My wonderful husband sums it up pretty well here.

Larry Munson is the best play caller ever!!

I just got to watch a clip of UGAs winning touchdown against Tech complete with Munson making the call. I found the link at The Bulldawg Blawg. It's great! I loved hearing it live, but it's even better seeing AND hearing it. I miss being able to do both. Here in the land of the hated Orange we can't get Munson even when we play in the state. I guess their (UT and Vandy) play callers don't want the competition! LOL Everybody knows Larry is the best!!

Here is the clip if you care to watch! I highly recommend it!!
