1. Wrapping or gift bags? I prefer bag just b/c I'm lazy and they are easier. I like to unwrap presents though. LOL

2. Real or artificial tree? We have an artificial tree, but I prefer real. I just don't like the cleanup involved with a real one.

3. When do you put up the tree? Usually the weekend after Thanksgiving.

4. When do you take the tree down? Usually the weekend after Christmas.

5. Do you like eggnog? Nope

6. Favorite gift received as a child? Man, I can't remember. I do remember one year getting several baby dolls and that same year I got a cowgirl outfit complete with cap guns. I loved baby dolls, but I was mostly a tomboy.

7. Do you have a nativity scene? No, I didn't put out a lot of our decorations this year. Just didn't have the room.

8. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Can't remember.

9. Mail or email Christmas cards? I mail Christmas cards with the kids' picture on them.

10. Favorite Christmas Movie? Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

11. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I usually start in September/October buying one thing a week. I hate rushing around trying to buy gifts at the last minute.

12. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? cornbread dressing, divinity, pumpkin pie, collard greens

13. Clear lights or colored on the tree? We have white lights.

14. Favorite Christmas song? Santa Claus is Watching You by Ray Stevens. LOL

15. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Since my family lives so far away we are usually traveling during Christmas.

16. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer. Yep.

17. Angel on the tree top or a star? This year it is a Santa hat. I couldn't find my star.

18. Open the presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning? Christmas morning.

19. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Irritable people out shopping.

20. Do you decorate your tree in any specific theme or color? I have mostly snowmen on the tree, but no specific color. I let the kids put the ornaments on this year. It was hard giving up control. LOL

21. What do you leave for Santa? Usually milk and cookies, but I've been known to leave him chips and beer. LOL

22. Least favorite holiday song? There isn't one that I absolutely hate really.

23. Favorite ornament? My UGA ornaments (all of which I put at the top of the tree this year so they wouldn't get broken or lost.)

Sassy has tagged me for a random fact meme. I'm supposed to give you 7 random facts about me. Here goes...........

1. I'm a huge UGA football fan (bet you couldn't tell that) and right now I am incredibly pissed off with the whole BCS b.s.!!! We need a playoff system in college football.

2. I have 3 kids. Two are mine by birth and the third is mine by marriage, but he is just as much mine.

3. I am a teacher. This year I am teaching kindergarten for the first time. It is fun, but definitely a challenge.

4. I hate to cook. I don't mind baking so much, but cooking everyday is is for the birds.

5. Fall is my favorite time of year. I'm not sure if it is because of the cooler weather, the beautiful colors, or football. LOL

6. I love Christmastime. I love the lights and the smells and the traditions of family.

7. I love music. My all time favorite band is Bon Jovi.

Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator? Not right now, but it's the kids' favorite fruit so usually.

What would you change about your living room? new furniture. Mine is over 10 years old and you can tell.

Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty? Dirty

What is in your fridge? Too much to list here.

White or wheat bread? We usually eat wheat, but the store was out of my brand the last time I was in there so right now we have white.

What is on top of your refrigerator? My Kitchenaid mixer, sewing kit (don't ask why), bottle of water.

What color or design is on your shower curtain? It is just white

How many plants are in your home? NONE.

Is your bed made right now? Nope

Is your closet organized? Ha Ha! Nope and I have no plans to organize it.

Can you describe your flashlight? Ummm, should I have a flashlight?

Do you drink out of glass or plastic most of the time at home? Glass usually, but I have several UGA cups from games that I like to use.

If you have a garage, is it cluttered? No garage, but when we had one it was always cluttered.

How many pillows do you sleep with? Just one unless I'm pregnant and then I have a body pillow too.

Do you sleep with any lights on at night? No, can't sleep with light.

How often do you vacuum? Once or twice a week mostly.

What is in your oven right now?Nothing, it is 10:30pm.

Is there anything under your bed? Yes, a few vacuum packed bags with bedding stuff and a shoe rack that the kids broke.

How many mirrors are in your home? 3 that are put up and 1 that is still leaning against the wall waiting to be hung.
