ACK!!!

I just realized the other day that my passport is about to expire!!! This is not good. No I don't have plans to travel out of the country in the near future. But, it is always good to have another form of identification. Don't ya think? Plus, you never know when we will win the lottery and decide to take off to far away places for a little R&R. Heehee!! Don't I wish!!! Let's see, where would I want to go? I want to go on an African safari for sure and I'd love to go to Ireland and stay in a little cottage in the middle of nowhere. I wouldn't mind going back to Scotland and Australia either. There are so many places I'd like to visit. If you won the lottery and could travel anywhere you wanted where would you go?

It's getting to be that time of year!!

Vacation!!! We always go to the beach. This year I'd like to branch out and go somewhere else. I have been looking at Branson. It is close and they have some really good weekend (and long weekend) packages available. They range from $423/couple to $683/couple. I think Michael and I need a break though so I'm for leaving them with family and going to have fun myself. LOL I'm excited.

I need a vacation

Being a mom of two very young kids, a wife, and a teacher there are times when all I can think about is getting away. Sometimes I don't have a destination in mind. I just want to get away from my responsibilities for a couple of days. I have learned that it is important to take time out for myself to re-energize in order to be a better mom, wife, and teacher.
