Ari's princess wardrobe is here

My daddy, Ari's and Joshua's Papaw, came over today. For Christmas he built her a wardrobe for all of her princess dresses. It's really cute. Ari loves it. She has been playing in it all day. So far we haven't had a chance to get her dresses in it though. LOL She's not out of it long enough. This could be a problem. ;-)

The 17 year old came to visit this weekend.

It's always good to see him. We don't get to see him often enough these days. The kids really miss him. So do Michael and I. I'm glad he came to see us.

She just looks all sweet. LOL

She really is mess. She has her sweet moments, but they come few and far between. I guess she has to be a little more.........ummmmmm........................unsweet to deal with a big brother. LOL

Happy Anniversary!!!

Tomorrow (Aug 3) will be 5 years. I can't believe it's been 5 years already. Just doesn't seem possible. A lot has happened in that time. We had a baby, bought a house, had another baby, sold our house, and both of us have changed jobs at least once. We work opposite shifts and don't get to see each other nearly enough, but there is nothing I regret in our life together. I love you more than I ever thought I could love anyone. I know that I don't always show/express that, but it is nonetheless true. I'll forever be amazed at how lucky I am to have you love me.

Party at the pool

We went to the pool today. It was fun even though Joshua didn't want to stay for long. What's up with that? Joshua realized that he is getting taller. He can now stand on the bottom of the pool with his head is still above water. Just right beyond the steps, but still it is a big moment. He was so proud. Ari still won't get off the steps willingly. I hope she gets over that.

While we were on vacation Joshua celebrated his 4th birthday. I can't believe he is 4 years old already. Wow! He isn't a baby anymore. He is a little boy and he loves it! He was so excited to be 4. He even wanted me to tell the lady at the McD's drive thru that he was 4. LOL Here are a few pics from his Star Wars birthday party.
